“This dress is from the 1950s and to be honest it is almost falling apart. I have had to mend it in so many places! The petticoat is new. I have two of them, the other is a silver colour. I often ask my children to help me choose between options, and it was actually my son that helped me decide which one to wear. I like the 1950s shape as it gives me curves that I don’t really have… I really like that Rover over there! I wish I could have a car like that to drive, it is so cool”.
