Paula

Paula is one of the founders of Nelson’s Little Beehive Co-op, a cooperative of creatives, artists and makers, most of whom are local.  She is also the woman behind fashion label The Seamstress and The Christmas Market at Founders, and she has fabulous personal style…

“I am really busy with The Little Beehive, the Market and sewing my own label The Seamstress.  Plus being a Mum!  So you will mostly find me in skinny jeans and dressed very casual.  Nelson is such a dressed-down place really.  I do like fashion though, and really love anything bohemian.  Yes, that’s definitely the best description for my style.  Boho.  These shoes were a bit of a treat for myself.  It’s amazing how new shoes can make you feel! I bought them online, which was a bit risky, but they are the best.  My bag and cardy are second-hand.  The cardy I stumbled upon “by accident” in that I wasn’t actually looking for anything for myself at the time.  The hat is a Brixton one from Trouble & Fox.  I love Brixton hats!  My earrings are from the Beehive, handmade by one of our artists Fiona Mitcham.  I am not wearing anything of my own label today, but will next time!”.
